An experienced second brain for your app's growth
As a founder or growth lead, you don't lack ideas. You lack certainty about which one deserves the next three months.
Advisory gives you a structured place to pressure-test decisions with someone who has seen the problem 30 times before.
How my 3 month advisory program works
01 — Am I the right fit for your challenge?
We always start with a free call to discuss your current challenges. From there, I'll create a custom proposal of how I can help you if I think I'm the right match. If not, I'll try to share other resources to help you further.
02 — Business Analysis
I’ll request an overview of your data and performance to date. Before our deep dive session, I’ll thoroughly review this to start hypothesising where your opportunities lie.
03 — Deep Dive Session
In this 2-3 hour session, we will go through your whole growth model: acquisition, activation, retention, and monetisation. We’ll discuss your goal and examine what could be holding you back, both personally and professionally. This will define the roadmap for our sessions..
04 — 2 advisory sessions per month
Every two weeks, we will meet to review the steps needed to move you forward. I’ll prepare notes and resources beforehand and ensure you have clear action points at the end of each session.
05 — Between Sessions
Within a few hours of our session, I’ll send you a comprehensive overview of notes and action points to help you move forward. If you have questions between sessions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I’ll check in to see how you are progressing toward your goal.
06 — Reflection
In our last session, we will reflect on your goal and how the progression has been, as well as the next steps. Most startups stay on for another three months, but if you are ready to continue on your own, haven’t completed all action points or need another type of support, I will always encourage that instead.
The problems advisory clients usually bring
I don’t focus on ‘hacks’, instead, I help you identify the underlying issue impacting your growth, and how to step-by-step improve that to drive results both in the short and long-term.
-
Downloads grow but the number of users hitting the aha moment doesn't. Onboarding grew by accretion, not design.
-
Three experiments in flight, none with enough traffic or attention to conclude anything.
-
Your app store page and paywall speak to everyone, so they convert no one in particular.
-
No user research in months, so the roadmap runs on gut feeling. And it's missing.
-
You keep testing paywall variants but conversion won't move. The real issue is usually upstream: who you're attracting, or what happens in the first session.
-
Month-one retention is decent, then the curve drops. Nobody owns the renewal moment.

Specialised in wellness App startups
I don’t grow startups to encourage consumerism. I work only with brands that improve the world, whether that’s by offering more sustainable products or helping people feel better.
FAQs
-
Mainly wellness B2C subscription apps: fertility, sleep, mental health, habits. Occasionally I take on a different app that has a positive impact, e.g. productivity.

My main point of contact is usually the Founder or Head of Growth, but other team members are always welcome to join our sessions. I just require one primary point of contact.

It varies greatly. Sometimes a client has a specific challenge, e.g. setting up a new growth team, so we will work together for a few months on achieving that challenge. Other clients use our sessions as ongoing support.
Different mentors will help you at various points in your career/business. I stay critical as to whether I’m the right person for you right now.

Sometimes you know what to do but just need to execute it. In these cases, I’d recommend a consultant instead (I do pick up smaller consulting projects as well).
In other cases, it is more a question of what to do and how to approach it, in which case coaching can make more sense.
