 Commonly asked questions

  • This course is designed with D2C startups in mind from pre-launch to scaling up. Whilst many of the learnings will be able to B2B and other types of companies (e.g. apps), it has not been designed specifically for them.

  • Depending on who you have in your team, I recommend founders, growth/product team members and marketing team members to follow this course.

  • I’m not going to pretend to find message-market fit is a one-day job. You will need to invest 50-150 hours (depending on your size) of your own time to collect data, conduct interviews, analyse and experiment. This is time invested building your business vs working in your business and I’ve found that businesses (though they continued to experiment) were able to use the insights for years afterwards. I have explanations of where you can use AI to speed up the process.

  • Ideally, you have someone experienced in writing conversion copy to translate the insights and Jobs to be Done into the copy. However, if you don’t, if you’ve built up a strong swipe file (part of the course), this can go a long way.

  • You get access for 6 team members for at least five years so you can always go back through the content. You can share templates internally. I do ask you to respect my IP and not send the templates outside of your organisation.

  • Yes, I also offer this as an eight-hour workshop including exercises throughout. The price for this is £4,000. I had so high demand for this that I setup the workshop as an affordable alternative.
